built in jin dynasty (265-420), zhuge liang memorial hall is the ancestral temple for enshrining zhuge liang. it is located in the mountainside of longzhong mountain and experienced success and supersession repeatedly through sui dynasty, tang dynasty, song dynasty, yuan dynasty, ming dynasty, qing dynasty and the republic of china (1912-1949). zhuge liang memorial hall today was rebuilt in the 38th kang xi year of qing dynasty by jiang xingqi, a government official of jiang-xiang areas. it is a four-yard multi-floor building, and in the main shrine are exhibited the statues of zhuge liang and his descendants zhuge zhan and zhuge shang for people to visit and enshrine. there is also one orange osmanthus over 400 years old in the hall, and it has a big anima.
